The Kill Switch feature in the Privado app is an important tool that automatically shuts down your internet connection if your VPN connection is lost. This prevents your real IP address from being exposed on the internet.
Note: The kill switch is designed to cut off your Internet connection when you’re not connected to the VPN. If you use the kill switch regularly, for smooth operation we recommend also enabling auto-start (Privado 'Settings' > 'Application' > 'Auto Start') and auto-connect ('Settings' > 'VPN') to make sure you stay connected to the VPN and don’t lose your Internet entirely. Untick the Kill Switch box if you need to go back to default settings.
